This pair of mallets is from the old Evolution series (old, larger carbon fiber). 1.25" hardwood ball core with white felt. There are no problems with this pair of mallets, and they can be wrapped as DK1 rollers for an additional $5.

DK Percussion Prototype
Very Soft Cork Core: $35

This pair of mallets was a prototype (one of the very first pairs!). The shaft is made of the orginal Evolution series carbon fiber tube. The cork core makes this set a very light pair of mallets. Two layers of white felt make up a 1.75" head size.
These would be very good light rollers.
