I was given this drum since there was not a matching 28" for it. It is a 25.5" Walter Light 6-lug, 3-caster timpani. It has a master tuning handle at the base of the instrument and I wanted to see if I could extend it to the reach of the player. This worked out fine although I need to tweak some mechanical parts of the design. I'd love to find a flexible shaft rather than the double universal joints.
